My doctoral thesis on the seniors’ experiences of the Digital Divide “Why senior South Koreans Don’t Embrace the Internet” was conducted with the Policy and Governance program at the Crawford School of Economics and Governance from 2002-2005. I graduated in the following year December 2006. Returning to Seoul, Korea, I served as a manager of the International Cooperation & Planning Team at the Korea Agency for Digital Opportunity & Promotion working on ICT assistant programs for developing countries, and collaborating with ITU and the UN to promote information for development. At present, I am a research professor at the Graduate School of International Studies, Korea University. Happy memories of my life at ANU, Canberra will always be cherished in my heart, and it would be wonderful to hear from any of the Crawford School alumni here in Korea or anywhere in the world.
