EDGES Workshop 2006: Trade, Environment and Productivity
The Crawford School is pleased to announce that the 2006 EDGES Workshop, entitled Roads to Riches: Trade, Environment and Productivity in 2006 will be held at ANU (Innovations Lecture Theatre Building 124) on Tuesday, 14 November 2006.
The Workshop will focus on economic growth and the environment, sustainability, trade, and productivity.
The number of participants is strictly limited to 100 persons.

Speakers:
The Distinguished and Key Note Speaker at the Workshop will be Ngo Van Long .
Ngo Van Long holds the James McGill chair in economics at McGill University. The title of his presentation is Intergenerational Allocations of Environmental Resources: Equity and Efficiency Issues

Prior to joining McGill, he was a professor of economics at the Australian National University. His publications include six books (with Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, and University of Michigan Press) and over a hundred articles in professional journals (including Econometrica, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Economic Theory, Economic Journal). His research interests include resources and environmental economics, international economics, and economic dynamics.
