PhD student Ying Xu just returned from the Association for Chinese Economic Studies Australia (ACESA) conference in Melbourne, where she presented the revised version of her first thesis chapter on the impact of foreign entry in China's banking sector. There were more than 30 papers presented in the conference covering various dimensions of Chinese economy and the presenters include PhD students as well as lecturers and senior researchers from mainly China and Australia.
Her paper was awarded 'the best PhD paper' by the conference committee.
