2009 Emerging Leaders' Dialogue
The first Emerging Leaders' Dialogue is scheduled to be held towards the end of 2009 in Beijing. The theme for the Dialogues is "Our Future Knowledge Economy".
Participants for the Dialogue must be outstanding research higher degree students who are advanced in their PhD or research Masters program and who would be able to contribute to a Dialogue on "Our Future Knowledge Economy". It is anticipated that selected students will be from a range of disciplines, including education and science, and will be confident in speaking about the topic at hand from the viewpoint of their discipline. Those students who have submitted their research thesis in the previous twelve months would also be considered as candidates.
The Dialogue will involve a range of participants from three main geographical pools - Australia, China and the Asia-Pacific region. Applicants from these areas are invited to apply.
