TWO WEEK INTERACTIVE TAILORED COURSE WITH ONE WEEK OF SEMINARSCourse AimsThis course mixes theory, practice and experience to give participants a solid understanding of workplace issues. This course will be delivered in two parts. The first two weeks will consist of interactive lectures which cover a wide range of issues pertaining to leadership, management and governance in the public sector. It will also use case studies to illustrate practical dilemmas faced by leaders and to critically review the approaches used by these leaders in practice. It will also be of interest to individuals seeking knowledge and practical application of leadership and management aspects at a senior level in different work environments. Course ConvenerBruce Hill is an ANU Associate who has extensive experience in corporate management, HR and professional consulting. He spent almost twenty years with Alcan Aluminium Limited in an international role. During his time as managing director of Alcan’s Uruguay operations, he implemented company-wide cultural change based upon the personal and professional development of Alcan’s employees. Now based in Sydney, he runs management development programs throughout Australia and Asia. |
