About us

Crawford School Executive education

Crawford School Executive Education works at the cutting edge of issues in public policy, economics and governance complementing the School’s traditional Masters and PhD programs and research/consultancy activities.  Our executive education activities are not only with Australian government agencies but a whole range of public sector agencies in governments throughout the Asia-Pacific.

We draw upon not only the intellectual resources of Crawford School and the ANU in general but also upon the rich expertise of current and former leaders of the Australian public sector to create programs that provide participants with up-to-date trends, cutting edge policy research and nuanced by knowledge of leadership in government. The individual and organisational objectives of participants and client agencies are carefully taken into account in customising our executive programs.

Crawford currently runs two of the premier flagship public sector leadership programs (Leading Australia's Future In Asia and Leading Australia’s Future In The Pacific) for the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC).  These programs are reserved only for the highest level officers of the Australian Public Service: the Senior Executive Service or SES and have been run by ANU for the last 14 years.  In the past, we were involved in the implementation of Leadership Across Borders – a Four Country Program catering to the same level of  APSC’s senior executives.

We also manage one of the longest-running and most successful Anti-Corruption Programs in conjunction with the New South Wales Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) which attracts participants from all across the globe.
