1. Internationally recognised outstanding academic and/or professional achievement in a relevant field.
2. Record of successful institutional leadership, including strategic planning and financial management.
3. An ability to enhance and develop the School’s, College’s and University’s national and international reputation and performance in education and research.
4. A high level of energy and entrepreneurial initiative to drive the School’s largely self-funding business model.
5. Familiarity with at least some of the markets for the School’s research and training programs.
6. Ability to articulate a coherent and realistic vision for the School, which aligns with the College Strategic Plan.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to build collaborations within the University community and with the public and private sectors.
8. Highly refined interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with, and to lead teams.
9. Ability to incorporate EO principles into strategic planning and the capacity to accept devolved responsibility for achievement of equity and diversity. |
