News Bulletin No 7, 18 April 2007

The JSAA Organising Committee is calling for volunteers who would be willing to help with JSAA Conference arrangements during the period of the conference. With around 250 people attending the conference, in multiple venues around the ANU, and a variety of related activities to be managed, we will need as many pairs of hands as we can find. It is common knowledge how much friendly volunteers can add to a major event such as this by making administrative and logistic issues less troublesome for delegates. Volunteers should be familiar with the ANU and its procedures. Most of the "work" will be for a few hours and will not be arduous or demanding. Unfortunately, we will not have funds to pay volunteers for their contributions.

Please provide your name, contact details (phone and email), ANU affiliation, and type of duties and times you would prefer on the attached form: JSAA Volunteer Form

News Bulletin No 6, 11 April 2007

Because of the large number of scholarship applications received, and the limited amount of funds for this purpose, it has been decided to close scholarship application on 15 April, instead of 30 April. Successful applicants will be notified during the week beginning 16 April.
